Message from the President of Saint Lucia Ottawa Association

On behalf of the Saint Lucia Ottawa Association. I am honored to extend my warmest greetings to my fellow Saint Lucians and Friends in celebrating Creole Heritage Month. As many of you know, the Saint Lucia Ottawa Association (SLOA) usually hosts Jounen Kweyol celebrations on the last Saturday of October. However; due to COVID 19 we’re unable to celebrate in the Nation’s Capital this year. Events Saint Lucia will be hosting Jounen Kewyol Celebrations online, to ensure that we stay safe and celebrate together around the world in the comfort of our homes.

Saint Lucia Announces Updated Travel Protocols Beginning July 9

New Protocols Include Mandatory COVID-19 Pre-Test within 7 Days of Travel, Exemptions for Visitors Traveling from Designated ‘Travel Bubble’ and Pre-Arrival Online Registration.

Following a reassessment of travel protocols based on market conditions, The Government of Saint Lucia will introduce several new and updated protocols for arrivals from July 9, 2020. Travelers will be required to obtain a negative PCR (Polymerized Chain Reaction) test within seven days of travel unless they are arriving from countries in the Travel Bubble designated by the Government of Saint Lucia.
